It is Christmas today and we have to clean our house like crazy.. But hey at least I won't be bored while cleaning the house, because I'll be jamming out to my Christmas playlist! Without further ado I will list my top 10 songs below, have fun listening to it and I wish everyone a merry Christmas!
Sooooo Christmas is near! In a couple of days, we are paining away in the kitchen to cook a grandiose Christmas dinner for our family members. This year is going to be quite different for me because my mom went on vacation to Suriname! Which means that I have to make something for myself and my cousin (my aunt might come too). We won't be doing Christmas presents this year because I am as broke as I can be. And you know the holiday is not about giving presents to each other, it is about being together with each other and feeling connected with everyone you are celebrating Christmas with.I actually still don't know what I am going to make; maybe some roasted potatoes or pasta, we will see. Oh yeah guys, we actually don't eat a traditional Christmas dinner with a turkey and stuffing etc. We eat Surinamese style. Which means Surinamese soul food and some Surinamese appetizers and such. And it is gooood... I have to admit that, that is still a bit difficult for me, so I will stick to the easier stuff (like pasta and roasted potatoes, maybe some mash, who even knows)! As long as it tastes good (and is vegetarian for me)! One of my favorite memories during my childhood was, when I was watching Christmas movies while my mom was cooking Christmas dinner. So I thought 'Why not do a Christmas top 6 movies'. Hello everyone! Jep, you have guessed it. For a couple of weeks I have been going to school now. I'm in my last year and the pressure is already getting to me (school has only started for four weeks). But I feel like every last (fourth) years feels that way. In the first week we had an introduction kinda day. My class stayed the same exept for our mentor.We got to know her and she got to know us. We also got information on our bachelor thesis, which I have to write this year... The nerves are already forming..
So today I'm going to talk about my internship. Unfortunately I can't get in to specific details about my internship, like where it is located and what it is called. But I'll try my hardest to explain what I am doing!
Hello everyone! How are ya doing? I'm doing fine. No, I'm doing more than fine! Freaking awesome! Please, let me explain. After waiting impatiently for four months (I think) I finally went to see my all time favorite band! Sooo last week, after my internship, I went to a concert from All Time Low. Jep, you have guessed it. I was fangirling to the MAX.
Uuuuugh I'm so sorry for not posting a blog post for a month (almost 2)... A month ago my internship started again and it has been busy ever since.. But I wanted to stick too writing a blog.
